Sleeps 4 maximum

A former croft constructed of stone, with an enclosed garden. Set over 900 feet above sea
level, within the Cairngorms National Park, it has spectacular views over the Monadhliath mountains, the River Spey and Insh Marshes to the front, and moorland and forests to the rear.

Inveruglas comprises a scattering of properties, old and new, approached by a ½-mile unmade road leading from the very scenic B970 which runs on the eastern side of the River Spey and Insh Marshes, between Kingussie and Kincraig. For walking and birdwatching Inveruglas is ideal, and among the rare bird species nesting locally are whinchats, goldcrests and crested tits. An old drove road (not open to other traffic) passes through, giving foot access to a selection of paths and forestry roads leading to Insh, Drumguish and Glen Feshie.

Visitors' comments: "Wonderful cottage - great views.", "The cottage was a refreshing delight to spread our wings in."
